Always
Speak their name
I may cry
I may feel sad
I may wish things could be different
But …
Speak their name
Never let them be forgotten
Tell their stories

Speak their name
Reminisce
Remember …
Never let them be forgotten
Always speak their name

Caterwauling
I wonder if there will
Ever come a day
When the two resident cats
Will actually play
Without screaming like banshees
When the other comes near
Hissing and moaning
For all to hear
And complaining so loudly
Like a common ally cat
Expect when we’re not looking
Because it all just an act
This pretending to be enemies
And that’s a fact
Age is Fragile
This age is one of illusion lost within a dream
Held by unknown spirits lurking close but never seen
Hellish nightmares locked within the realms of slumber
You want to know the truth … so do we all so take a number
This is an age of innocence cruelly tainted by vengeful lust
Cotton candy secrecies no mortals can ever trust
Fly away to paradise, sail above the seventh sea
Driven by a fantasy you may never wish to leave
This age of ambiguity feigned by truth within a death
Promises of a new life after the final breath
Hold safe to the night, the sun and the waning moon
You walk these lands but briefly and are gone from here … way too soon
