Crush white supremacy into dust

Mixed with the fat of the land

Top with chocolate

Serve piping hot

Mom
I wish I could love you and all of your flaws
I know you are a good person
You teach
You work so hard
Yet my hatred for you grows daily
This gap between what I want and reality seems too wide to narrow

Intro

Hi everyone. My name is Felicia Clemmons. I’m a physical therapy student at Washington University in STL. I’m also a poet. I seld-published my first book last year entitled “I love my people and other Black thoughts.” I’ve been writing poetry throughout my life and I’m looking forward to this challenge.
