The Poetry Marathon

Close your eyes
Take a deep breath

Search inside
You will find the rest

Go past all those places
Leaving behind all those faces

Soon you will enter the valley of solitude

There is silence
Full of peace

Its a point where souls meet…

Say it whenever you can
Tell someone who listen

See everything when you can
Observe what appeals the most

Travel to the far land
Wander to find the unknown

Walk while going to work
Run to catch your dream

Do what makes you happy
But create what makes others smile…

We spread them wide
Nothing to hide

Aim it high
Ready to fly

Sky seems near
We don’t fear

When rains will come
We wont run

This freedom we earned
Its time we learn…

Doors were shut
Her eyes closed

Hands trembled
Her body shivered

Not with pain
But fear..

A voice was heard
Low chuckle

She had made a mistake
The price needed to be paid

Warnings were now  remembered
But she had already entered

Now it was too late
She could only wait
For the night
To play its game…

Lets find a new hope
Time to learn a new rope

All this while
So much pain
Lets find a new gain

The line was drawn
People have won

Now is the time
When one moved on..

It was difficult to go through
Still life goes on..

To win is not the victory
Sometimes loosing does the trick..

It has started
But I wont let it win
Oh time
This time you will loose…

It has no wings

Still flies

Who could catch time

Which passes by…

Fate comes
Wait accompany

Words die
Hearts beat

Time stops
Life moves

Day strives
Night arrives

Doors close
Eyes open

Dreams break
Faiths shake

Light shines
Dark rules

All this time we remain fools…

It never complains
We go down the lane

Sit under its shade
It never gets paid

Money is not its price
Now is the time when care should rise

She has given so much love
Can’t we give a gentle hug

We take all her fruits
So why can’t we water all her roots

She is our mother
Who gives us life
Due to our mother nature
We all survive…
