Roy Mark Azanza Corrales, commonly called by his peers or friends as simply Roy or Mark , has always been fond of reading books since he was studying his early basic education at Marist School , Marikina. The Marist High School Library , with its wide array of books becomes his haven. He then became associate editor of Reconciliare , the newsletter of University of La Sallete Seminary in Silang Cavite and was also a national literary editor of NFJPIA Newsletter. He had joined collegiate parliamentary debate and accounting quizzes. During his spare time , he made a point to write inspiration in a poetry genre. He studied BSBA Management Accounting at ABE International College of Business and Accounting in Cainta, Rizal. He was a former seminarian in a Franciscan all -male monastery named Adoration Friars of Saint Clare (AFC) where he acquired Frater Maximilian Marie of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, AFC as his religious name. There, he also become a secretary general of secretary of the community, and former catechist in a Diocese of Antipolo parish. The solace of solitude often invited him to discern and marvel about human existence and spirituality in making life more meaningful. After the awarding of PENTASI B HISTORICAL FORUM 2013, he underwent research and was able to contribute a press release entitled “Philippine : Poetry Hub of the World.” He also contributed to different anthologies like I am poetry, Verses: Typhoon Yolanda A Storm pf Philippine Poets (edited by Eileen Tabios), and many more. In 2013, he was able to organize a one-man poetry show at Library of World Art of Memories. He did the same in 2014 and in 2015, aside from the one-man poetry show, he also made his first visual poem and was posted at PENTASI B WORLD FRIENDSHIP POETRY named “humility.” Roy is currently a corporate secretary in ALGACROPS, INC. a family business engaged in exportation of dried seaweeds. Roy is a spoken word artist from Laya Manila since July 2017. Roy is currently engaged in publication of own works and other authors works through his own publishing company duly registered as RMAC BLOOMING PUBLISHING.
Affectionate in great heights
Yet humbly in its ways
Silently moving surely no sounds emanating
As if a passerby just passed in no noise at all
Cuddling in every season
Admiring much in great ways
Cuddling in a master a human being
Moving in such delight
Always be surprise in such unexpected ways
Life serenading in a cat’s way

Close ties
Closely knit family
Always in jubilation
Something fishy happening
A great silence between spaces
Knowing what lies ahead
An opportunity for growth and living economy
Underlying precepts always enduring
Lessons learned keeping in logbook of living
Moving forward new acceptance
New ties within the circle of living

yet life as a poet always meet a certain clique or audience
always be kind
light and love forever
a traveler in this space and time
today i find myself
detached to many emotions
that transpiring me
with this week
prior to the poetry marathon
i try not to attach with my feelings
it drives me much too insanity metaphorically
still life goes on
firmness and endurance in a task
always withstanding
that why i always like this poetical marathon
around the world in time and space
still much to be learned as a human being
still working in progress humanity
A love unending
Springtime or summertime
Nevertheless on and off season
Always in its causality
Effectors on its horizon
Wondering always elation
Jubilation such no objection
Mincing the life spices
Such a great splendor
Always defining moments

Heart
A pulse center of a human body
Determined routes to and fro
And ventilation for oxygen and carbon dioxide
Interlocking exchanges
Network gateway
Pulsating in every route
Heart center of endeavors
Agile yet nonstop unto death of itself

Embracing clouds in blue sky
Gazing Sun making things so much beauty
Flowers draping the land in its majesty
Looking for warm embraces
As Mother Earth embraces all
Moving in the movement of all things
Teardrops from heaven
As the dry earth in its thirst
Watering the land
Imploring the Creator
Pouring bountiful blessing for all Creation
Especially Humanity as its caretaker
Making a difference in the similar things
All things existed for a purpose

A cold case
Part of society doing a share
Making a share for others
Undeniable truth
Something is missing
Without a thought at hand
Meeting in the highway of living
Still be alive or not
A sad reality
Poor souls where are they now?
Springtime or no well spring

Riding on a jeep
Sudden road change
Causing a panic
Stopping for a while
Near a lake
It was night then
Seeing the full moon amongst the stars
Truly it was a Glory from the Creator of the Universe
Surely He got nothing to spare with

My judgement is my own discretion
I control everything
I am in command
Never Fu*k with me
Drugs kill lives
Crimes increases due to drugs
Drug lords should be killed
Supporters and protectors should be extinguished
Government remains vigilant
