Hi! I write poems, kidlit, and essays, and I live in Chicago. I’ve signed up for the full marathon, so I’m probably being overconfident, but it sounds like such fun! I’m going to start a list of poem topics and poetic forms so that I’m ready for that Saturday morning. I’m looking forward to the challenge!
I did the full marathon last year, and it’s fun, but exhausting. Make sure you have snacks/easy to prepare meals ready to go. They also provide hourly prompts as inspiration! I hope you enjoy it!

I’m excited to be joining in the full marathon. I have no idea what to expect other than excitement and exhaustion. Maybe like a running marathon, which I participated in when I was much younger and my joints more supple. Here’s to the adventure.
