I have two happy little boys
Who keep me wild and free
They lead me into forests
For the toadstools to see.
One is thin and grubby
His hair black and slick
The other is all smiles
Though he looks like a stick.
They love the little kittens
They wrap them in their arms
And whisper to me to keep them
Safe from all harm.
They point out the stars
We count them one by one
They climb upon my lap
When my day is done.
So if you find me chattering
For all the world to see
Know that I’m not going bonkers
My boys are playing with me!
God bless them boys… And you too… Have fun while you can….
Writing this was unique!!!! Quite a prompt!
Actually I have to add, at home, I always refer to “hawa” and “batash” (basically air and wind in Bengali) as my two boys. From the time the girls were small, in the evenings, specially in summer, I would tell them to open all the windows so that the boys could play. That’s what I was thinking of! And of course, my girls know I am crazy!!!
It is a great analogy then… Very own…
