You came as a beam of light
And all my darkness disappeared
You became my peace
And all my chaos settled
You held my hand
And I began to fly
You closed my eyes
And made me see my dreams
You smiled
And I wanted all those dreams to come true
You became mine
And I started loving myself
You made me conquer my fears
And made me smile
You came in my life
And became my life
The tenderness of this first line, “You came as a beam of light” is quite endearing. I read this and considered the ongoing relationship, and as I came to the point of “dreams come true” and “conquer my fears” I wondered if there would come a time of heartache. If this becomes longer — or perhaps if you explore the longer relationship — that may bring more grounding. This is lovely, though. Also, I read this and kept it in mind when reading your others, and it makes a larger picture. (Perhaps that is when I see that grounding bit — a compilation of your poems.)
Thank you
