One Worded Oracle

Sternly perched upon mine heart

One word echoed unbendingly

True— I said as it would depart

Its one worded reply— almost knowingly

For the future made haste

With what was already known

For this one—word embraced

It’s predictability and its only answer found—

Lying in the core of my bosom— my left breast

Unyielding— unlike the heavens abode

For it— I said, it always confessed

The very same answer that it had foreshadowed

For words then from my own heart

Transformed desiring—its reply

For then when my question was found to depart

Those most truthful words were then the prophecy—

The Inverted Word

Interpretation and understanding reside

When the Word itself—is inverted

As Truth is said to—confide

The meaning must be converted

Fixed in the opposite order

For light to shine in darkness

Interpreted by its own author

But by the mirrored image’s strangeness

Strangeness lingered with each word

Inverted reflections revealed

For arcane knowledge answered

The very mysteries concealed

Prophets of Baal

Prophets speak words— divine

Rulers of both good and evil

One, congealed, one: sign

Prophets of Baal— do reveal

Highest knowledge—to bind

Evil words inverted— concealed

To the one of the most high—

Solemn words alike— revealed

Oh! Wisdom how you speak!

For prophecy is what they seek!

Binding ones own soule

After one is all that’s made—

Alone and one alone

Like these words that I’ve prayed

A Swiss Mans Love

Worlds apart— I feel your touch

Foreign from a place I know—

Memories— yet it’s sometimes too much

For the wings I wish to borrow

Wings I wish to wear—

To fly across these skies

To hold you and to bare

The love that—within me cries

To tell you— what your comfort brings

A foreign language I sought to learn

But the language of love is what sings—

It’s for you— I do yearn

Time, I wish to travel through—

With wings that eagerly soar

To you and only you—

For my heart just wants more
