We are but
faces in a crowd
living life to
speak out loud.
From day to day
We find our voice
Growing stronger after each
and every choice.
We are but
faces in a crowd
living life to
speak out loud.
To be heard and
Then be seen.
Till then,
we are but
faces in a crowd.
That first line really echoed Ezra Pounds In A Station on the Metro, for me.
I never read that poem but, I did read “The Red Wheel Barrow” and I am a Beat Generation fan. Thx Caitlin.
