Eternity Now
flashes in bright blue neon
atop a dark, metal building
more rust than gray
selling a promise of forever
a secret long sought,
but never found.
Will those lined up outside
find it when they cross
the threshold?

I really like this poem for that picture prompt. How will they feel when they cross the threshold? Will eternity actually be found? I wonder if this is what people who attend church feel like, that crossing the church’s threshold will prepare them for “eternity now.” Good job.
