Knots tied
Promises made
Secrets shared
Hearts intertwined
The stars are dancing
Like rhinos with glitter dancing on the sun
Your smell like a tropical vacation
Your taste like a honeydew melon
Your voice like the most beautiful song
Your body like my favorite amusement ride
Your skin like satin
A roller coaster for my senses
A doctor to my love
My heart as your hospital
Yet the song you sing is often dark
Knowing I enjoy all of you, especially the dark
Bobbycock, everyone else says
Love is hate and hate is love I try and explain
The giggles from within they speak of are false
The butterfly feeling is an illusion I try to say
Butterflies are often just colorful moths
Moths are the beauty of death
I am but a Brooke unable to keep people from drowning
Soon the Brooke will swallow you whole
The tides have come and the water has fallen
The logs scream out our names
A mixture of beauty and chaos
The perfect love, the perfect story, the perfect us.
Weak
Feeble Minded
Gullible
Thinking everyone has the best interest at heart
Never understanding the monsters we fear
Are the same ones we hold so dear
Late at night as I stroll through the choices upon me
I find myself at a crossroads
One is my future self
One is my past self
While both look dark at the beginning
Which road will lead to the light?
My mind has chosen to feel hope
My body has chosen to remember its Stardust
While my mind wishes it was only Stardust
It is stuck with only the hope
My words use to be venom
Pouring out at the most inopportune times
Never caring who they targeted
Never worried about their victim
Until it hit me
I was the snake
Her skin
The most amazing feeling I’ve ever felt
The tenderness of her touch
Truly electrifying
My exterior is hard
Difficult to Crack
Yet soft on the inside
And easy to destroy
Books for beginners
An easy task
Anyone wanting to explore the world
Without leaving
Should do fine
The streets stay crowded as if it were always a new year’s day
The noise of the hustle and bustle never seems to end
The smells aren’t even fresh anymore
The people are just moving pieces in the rat race of life
The city holds fun and excitement
Yet it’s missing the most important thing
Connection
