Hour 4 Poem 4 Trust

Trust that I’ve always wanted what’s best for you,

I don’t put much stock into assumptions and stereotypes,

Cheering you every step of the way,

Through the slumps and bumps,

Victories and triumphs,

Bring your friend never was a conundrum,

I’m sure the sentiments are the same,

Though, from time to time,

The loyalty isn’t reciprocated,

I’ve accepted it is what it is,

And accept you as you are as you would expect.

Hour 3 Poem 3 Biological Clock

I’ve waited so long,

Not sure how to feel,

Since I have yet to have been blessed as of yet,

I’ve prayed,

Yet, I wonder have my prayers gone to deaf ears,

Do you hear me?

Father, do you hear me,

The inevitable, plethora of emotions that arrives with such joy,

Deserving, desirable, deeply,

Rest assured, I am faithfully, hoping,

As I watch biologically watch the clock,

Tick… Tock.

Hour 2; 1040: Summers Eve

Summers Eve,

Light Sleep, dreaming of long nights,

Cool drinks, poolside,

Taking in the Cool breeze,

Listening-

To the whistle of the trees,

Children’s laughter,

Smelling-

Firewood burning, charcoal, grilling,

Enticed by what’s coming forth,

Relaxing the fun awaits.

Commence

It’s the beginning,

It’s time to get it started,

Pencils up let’s write.
