Time drips across centuries,
turning the day bright
and bringing a starry night.
Life slips into memories.

MahimaGiri
I live in Houston, TX. Poetry has been my language when it comes to expressing my thoughts artistically. It is a beautiful inner voice that speaks and culminates into words that weave the emotions together. I enjoy and experiment writing poems in various forms especially inspired by nature. You can find my work at www.allpoetry.com/MahimaGiri and also published in CLRI, Haiku Journal, The Taj Mahal Review, 50 Haikus, Molecule - a tiny lit mag.
Hour 3: Kindness
The waves of kindness
rush to the shores of help
and recede without expectation.
Hour 2: Memories
Reflections wriggle on the ripples.
Time makes memories in triples.
Hour 1: Love
Love heals the wounds of loneliness.
Hour 12: The Autumn Rain (Form: Symetrelle)
Colors drench the autumn leaves,
Dripping the mirror-like boulevard,
Embed in the sonnets of a bard
The vanishing perspectives of the evening
Capture the trailing endless lampposts burning,
The gusty winds make way for the moon shining.
A couple under the umbrella walking
As their footsteps soften on the yard
For a lovely greeting on a card
Colors drench the autumn leaves.
Hour 11: Dawn (Form: Constanza)
Golden warm waters drift in bright,
Shine embracing the reflection
Ripples pop in excitation
As dancing sun rays recede night,
Gently awakening the birds
And disorderly grazing herds.
Spills the colors of the first light
Capturing rainbow in a dew
Composing every morning new
And the silhouettes come to sight
Ambitious to breathe the sunshine
As the first breeze jostles the vine
To cherish the catch in delight
The boats are set to sail the vast
Singing away the overcast.
Hour 10: Kindness (Form: The Brevette)
Kindness
c r a d l e s
mankind.
Hour 9: Summer (Form: Butterfly Cinquain)
Seashells
arrayed the shore
watching the footsteps trail,
the bouncing waves ferried the crabs
towards
sunbathed poetic sand castles.
clear turquoise waters chill
beneath the feet
gently.
Hour 8: Macarons (Form: Epulaeryu)
Colorfully flavored discs
decked into double
and filled with a buttercream
relished with coffee
capturing the taste
in every
bite!
Hour 7: Reflections (Form: Monorhyme)
Blades of pines couching the snow,
Softly as the clouds sail low.
The amber peaks gently glow
And reflections meditate in a row,
Silence breathes with mellow
Stillness captivates the show.
