Over a year debates

Recipe for Peace

what a surprise! A golden capsule appears in my yard,

we curiously opened it,

we found a recipe, not any recipe, a unique one:

Recipe for Peace Ingredients

1 pin of justice

¼ spoon of love

¼ spoon of compassion

¼ spoon of respect

¼ spoon of tolerance

Preparation

Mix all ingredients with care and hope.

No need to refrigerate, bake or broil.

Only open your senses,

To obtain the perfect peace.

Luzdelmes

Her Mother was inspired by her little daughter

The emergency of her words,

The worries about the trees,

The concerns about the forest,

Nature was speaking to her,

I couldn’t listen,

The Common House is waiting

Embrace it!

The Earth talks

Recycle, reuse, and reduce

you know it,

you know it, but don’t do it!

Do not cut down trees, nor divert rivers,

you know it!

you know it, but don’t do it!

Avoid the consumption of plastics,

you know it!

you know it, but don’t do it!

You can see the signs,

hear my fury,

but you don’t listen.

Hypocrites! If you know how to interpret the appearance of the climate, why do not interpret then the signs? … How long?”

Deep silence arrived while the eyes of the storm passed by…

Unexpected

The joy of unseen things

Inspire and scare,

Arrive without notice,

Pleasant or unlikeable,

Embrace it with sense,

They may bring surprises.

Introduction

I am excited to be part of 2021 Poetry Marathon.  I had participated in the Half-Poetry Marathon 2016, 2019 & 2020 and complete Poetry Marathon 2015 & 2017.

Based on my experience, this is how I prepare for a Poetry Marathon:
1. Set up Poetry Marathon with advance – Be familiar how to post –
2. Sleep well the night before.
3. Join and follow Facebook Group Posts, days in advance.
4. Check Prompt every hour and create my poem to post in that hour.
5. Write poem on a word document before publish it to the website.
6. Read and comment other’s poems
7. Best of all, HAVE FUN!
Wishing all poetry Marathoners a great time!
