There are poems in the forest
Waiting to be found
Among the trees and leaves
Fireflies alight to the ground.
There are forests in the poems
Unexplored, unfound
There are poems in the forest
Waiting to be found.
Branches that those blithe spirits cross
Overhangs laden with moss
Flutters of light spring a chorus
In a world filled with stars.
There are fairies in my poems
Unexplored, unfound.
There are poems in the forest
Waiting to be found.

I love this poem so much! Beautiful in every way.
Thank you!
Beautiful forest and fairies…..
This is a such a beautiful poem! the images, the flow… perfect. A truly delightful read.
Thanks, and I was worrying that it was too repetitive!!! 😉
Beautiful! Very cleverly put together! <3
Thanks 😌
Such a fun and beautiful ode to the Forrest and to your craft
Thanks!
The rhythm of this piece is fluid but gentle – like the wandering through the forest you write about here. The rhyming works well to carry the rhythm through the poem. Lovely.
