Thanks for your comment, Anne. This was my first nonet and I had to work hard to make the syllables come out, but as I did that i changed some of the language—making it a stronger poem in the end! Good one to end on!
Yes, a good one to end on, indeed! Encapsulating a year and years – I think Mother Earth is telling us harsh truths and we need to listen. Powerful poem!
