Road tripping through the rural Midwest
multiple stops at towns, map dots
places so obscure people
living there don’t know where
they happen to be
Blissful in their
remoteness
and my
envy.

I love this poem, I envy those people too, living in blissful oblivion of the madness of city life. Great nonet.
Short but very expressive.
This nonet really works. I felt like I was there in the small rural town.
This poem definitely works and flows well
I like the line
“don’t know where
they happen to be
Blissful in their
remoteness
and my
envy.”
Conveys many different feelings. Thank you
I like the image of map dots being obscure places
and the humor that the even those who live there dk where they happen to be.Then all tied into a bow with the contradictory blissful unknowing and the envy for their peace in not knowing. very nice poem that may appear so simple on the surface, but is really quite complex!
