How lovely!
Traveling a mosquito trail is quite a new perspective for me, yet they travel along like ants and like us, so why wouldn’t they have a trail? You don’t just make them travelers but also participants, and I smiled gently reading your last line.
I am impressed by your eloquent, succinct words. I struggle with this, so I’ll read more of yours to learn a bit more.
Finally, the shape of this poem is like the opening in the dense forest. It’s perfect for “flying through.”
I enjoyed this poem. It’s concise and direct but paints a vivid image. Could imagine how annoyed I’d be walking through dense woods and walking right into a cloud of mosquitos.
Also very true, you don’t notice the bites until after you’ve had your fun.
Nice and succinct. I love how it is in the shape of the tunnel opening.
Nice and tight. You didn’t waste one word. Good job.
Love what you did with this prompt and by creating a ninette… Yes!! And the view is entrancing enough that one might even forget about the mosquito bites!!
