Hour 12

Alles?
Ja, alles.

The clippers buzz to life.
A first pass from nape to crown,
Six inches of blond hair fall to the ground.
The stylist orbits around my head,
A moon to my earth,
Her breastbone near my face
As she shaves off the remaining pieces.
Don’t panic; it’ll grow back.
Momentarily, I want glue or tape.
(But I don’t know the German)
I look in the mirror all glory and nakedness.
Just a spare lock to keep,
A reminder of my badassery.

# 12 Glowing Night

We parked the Jeep

and watched the moon rise over the lake.

Only a few clouds

glowing

with the glory of the moonlight.

The entire sky lit up with stars,

a universe-sized canopy of fairy lights

The baby fell asleep

in her car-seat.

We watched

for shooting stars

until

we

fell asleep,

too.

Forgiveness…

Mewling wicked soul, echoing from black, white and brown race

Puking bad words from their mouth and

Stinging on kindred spirit.

Denouncing illegal, immoral acts and publicly criticizing skin colors are blameworthy.

Proclaiming religious beliefs are a curse, that causes human hostile.

Homosexuality, transgenders or bisexual are not sinners and why does matter,

The world change their perceptions, continuously

Erupting and spitting burning words that scarring the earth,

On races, religion and other human conflicts.

The human abrasive tongue are unstoppable, blistering the heart of mankind,

Hurting and dying.

Poor soul are expressing sorrows and aiming to make peace,

Forgiveness.

Wailing for peace, to put an end on this senseless revolution, aching for,

Forgiveness.

You are My Home (Eleventh Hour)

A freak, crazy, girl,
An alien in this world.
That’s what peopld often call me,
Whenever I proclaim You are my Lord.
They don’t understand what it feels like,
To be with You for the rest of my days,
All they know is to judge and give a strike,
In everything I do and in different ways.
A slap across the face,
Words that can kill a heart,
They have stepped on my whole being,
Just so they can tear us apart.
Thousands of restless days,
And sleepless nights,
Thousands of criticism,
And society bites.
Everything inside me is already torn,
My cracked hearts seem to be full of pain even from the day when I was born.
But comparing it to what You’ve done for me when You wore the crown of thorns,
All of this comes down to nothing, and I know that this pain is worth all the more.
No matter what they try to do,
No matter how much they try to
Take me away  from You,
I know that still, You’re always here with me,
And that You’ll never leave me on my own.
I know this world can do nothing,
For I am never alone.
And I’d always find my way back to my home.

Hour 12: Lust

Spare me the moon above the lake
The candlelit picnic
The serenades and poetry

A panic behind my breastbone make
With a scandalous lick
The seduction of adultery

Spare me the sunrise over the sea
The chocolate box
The rings and the traditions

A fever within my flesh give me
On secretive walks
With explicit propositions

Feed me like a fire
I’ll ride you like a wave
Show me your desire
I’ll show you what I crave

Poem 12: Moon Lake

Moon lake,
Wider than memories,
I cross you in dreams.

Lazy waves carve
moon beams into scalloped blades
that cleave meat from bone
and stitch words into stories.

Over the lake,
And far above the moon,
A nighttime sky, silent and black,
Arcs in a gentle canopy.

I swam these waters, once,
Dove into their still depths
Until the black water tattooed my arms,
Ink on living paper.

Squat, dark trees line the shore.
Silver sunlight burnishes limbs,
Bare and spare.
Beneath my breastbone, lungs squeeze.

No stars lighten the sky.
No clouds soften the moon.
No giant fish preys below.
I am alone. Just me.

I do not panic, do not laugh,
Do not wonder or rage or weep.
I am still, remembering,
Before heading back to shore.

Moon #12

I love going to the lake and looking at the moon,

I am going to panic if I do not leave soon,

Grab the jeep along with a spare tire,

make it there at night and sit by the fire.

In the morning pull out the canopy, eat in the shade,

Enjoy every moment , before the glory fades,

Go tubing and flip , hurt my breastbone,

Here at the lake , I don’t have my phone.

Guess a cocktail or two, stay one more night,

Go back tomorrow , everything will be alright,

Enjoy the night filled with stars and the lovely moon,

Love it up since winter comes to soon.

Savasana

soft, empty, unattached, elegant, fondness… To lay like this is like bliss on the edge of my smile, feathered with breath…
