WHICH ROAD DO I TAKE?

HOUR THIRTEEN

POEM # 13

24 HOUR

POEM

MARATHON

WHICH ROAD DO I TAKE?

Two roads divided by one toll booth,

My feet no longer spray of my youth.

One road new modern shinny and bright,

The other old and worn filled with blight.

My eyes traveled down the road for miles,

Suddenly what I saw, brought wide smiles.

Far down one road, a little man with a goat,

He would tug and pull, in his firery red coat.

My decision made to view this tug of war,

All because of what this little man wore.

The other road in my travels will have to wait,

If I travel this way again, I will open it’s gate.

hour 14 prompt 14 Food

I ordered Chinese  food tonight, we gobbled up chicken balls, rice, ribs and chow mein

Stuffed to the gills oh just one more bite, I’m going to explode another egg roll? Hmm I think I just might

I can’t eat no more let’s put it away, this part I hate because I will pick eating more till in the fridge it is stored till another day

This Chinese  food  as great as it is, will never be complete without reading ur fortune

My stomach  is sore I’ve indulged  way too much, this food is my weakness I’m so bloated and tummy sore to the touch

Cache of Hours (Hour Fourteen)

I found a cache of hours

Behind glass that said,

“Break in case of emergency.”

It was an emergency.

I’d played the grasshopper again,

For I was no ant.

I broke the glass.

I took those hours,

To avoid failure,

But there was a price:

My well-being.

After all,

Nothing is free.

Withholding Nothing (hour 14)

In this the 14th hour Lord I surrender all to you,
I give you my all oh Lord, I am empty,
I pour out every thing to you,
I will withhold nothing, I give it to you,

My deepest regrets they all belong to you,
Surrenderance to you Lord, I give you all of me,
Here it is Jesus take it from me,
Withholding nothing, i give you all,

All my pain and grief Lord I give it to you,
I surrender my all to you Jesus,
I give my self away, so you can have your way,
I refuse to hold back Lord,
I won’t go back Jesus,
I have been changed, there is peace in you,

ALL BELONGS TO YOU Jesus!!

Beholder

they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I hold her, I hold her in my mind, in my skin and in my fears, trying so hard to protect her, she is me, beauty by eyes of mirror view, I long to hold her in peace, guide her in justice and quiet her when need be…

Hour 14: Coppelia

Wind up my key and watch me dance

in torpid trance

in manacle

mechanical

Pull on my strings and make me leap

in waking sleep

in bondage held

by hand propelled

#14 – Rabbit Pope

Creature_20140907152310The pope of Rabbits

The “rabbit pope”

Got eyes everywhere

To spy on all rabbits

Journeying down their holes

Got ears all over the place

To keep an eye on theirs

The rabbit pope

Is a control Freak

And a f***ing moron

Not even grateful

For the hideaway

Where he can play

Rabbit Pope

Got eyes everywhere

Is very pop

In underwear

I Want To Tickle Your Tongue

Tickle, Tickle
All over your tongue
Air moves,
What is it?
Do I want you to taste it?
Do I want you to kiss it?
Or Do I just want
You to be tickled
How can the mind?
Surrender to this space and time
When all the flavor
Of each taste
Collides
Deep and deeper
Into the sky
What do I want?
I want to tickle,
Tickle, tickle
Your tongue
What is it?
What is it?
That I want
Do you feel it from my heart and soul?
Can you see it?
Or do I have to show you
How to embrace it!
It’s here
For you!

Chocolate

My obsession
With chocolate
Is beyond
My control

It’s like my body
Craves it
At times
I’m not even aware of

I’m like a shark
Who’s just smelled
The fresh scent of blood
From its prey
I can smell
Chocolate cake
From a mile away

The moment a piece
Of chocolate
Enters my mouth
And
Makes love
To my taste buds
A sense of
Euphoric bliss
Comes flooding
Over me

This obsession
With chocolate
Is absurd…
No doubt!
