24 Poems ~ 24 Hours
My last Marathon was in 2019, then Covid 19, and subsequent lockdowns, struck and all hell broke loose. Hope you all enjoy the 2023 Marathon.

Hidey ho, everybody!
Poetry Marathon 2023 is nearly upon us. I am running with the full marathon again this year. I am looking forward to spending time with creative juices and creative people.

I’m excited to see
new prompts just for me
my brain tossed around
making poetry soft and round.
This year, will be harder
we’ll all think and write smarter
to be chosen, the author
of rare printed word’s honor.

I am 72 year old ex-pharma scientist. Successfully completed half marathon last year. The editor of the anthology was so good my finished product was amazing.
Since retiring from active research two years ago, I am able to indulge in serious literary endeavours.
I am trying to figure out how to post to the group bulletin board. Can anyone help?
Hi! I’m Aleta. This will be my second poetry marathon. I made it through the whole thing last year. I admit that some of the poems came fairly easily and some I searched for words and ideas to even think about! I like poems for kids and haiku, and just making stuff up. Hope everyone really likes this adventure!
