On the way to Osteoderm- Hour 10/Prompt 10, 2022

We were on the way to Osteroderm,

a new amusement park in the town of Swamp.

I wore a green dress,

to feel like a forest princess.

When we reached the location,

I see nothing but a huge alligator nation.

Definitely it was “amusing”,

moreover frightening.

The spikey land had a sign board highlighting

“Croc and Alli, aren’t the same valley”

The swings were both land and aqua based.

Essentially, the little green dress seemed as if I own the park.

I wondered if the park had any potions,

that I can consume to be huge.

Not for the uniqueness,

I seek out of this miniature world,

but to pet these slides,

of an alligator and crocodile.

Their green brown shade reminds me of the other world filled with colours and people who are sceptical about colours..

Pecha

There was once this little

a lady from the Park.

She knew all that lived

in the area.

She lived in Toronto.

Everybody knew her by name, Pecha.

Now, Pecha is in her nineties.

Still keeping busy and writing

her books for the school children.

One day she went on a long walk

and never came back.

Nobody knew what happened

to poor Pecha always smiling.

They found her passed away

on one of her favourite park benches.

As still as could be.

Still smiling and laughing as the kids came by

Until late one night,

you would have thought the sky fell.

Pecha passed away and her story

has stayed alive for over 20 years.

Now you also know Pecha,

she will always be around.

Fall10pm

You had me so fooled
for all those years.
Thinking everything was my
fault.
You were so good at that

No one else had to take
responsibility for their actions.
I was the only person at fault
in the whole world. I had to take
the responsibility for their actions.

You are the Master of deceit.
The biggest trickster there is
Yet you come in such a pretty
package and dangle the pretty things
in our faces to hook us.

No more. I won’t allow it.
Every single time that I say
no, it angers you. It starts
to cripple you.

You can’t touch me anymore
Because I have a weapon that
you don’t have access to.
The Armor of God.

15: A cunning disguise

Prompt: “Write a poem about someone or something you have a lust for”

First, it was lust,
In the dust of the past.
All it took was a glance,
and there in my dreams, you danced.

Forbidden feelings,
you got me reeling.
How could I say no?
I stooped too low.

Overlooked everything,
it was your body I was worshipping.
Forgot to see behind the mask,
I drank from your poisoned flask.

Hour 15 (2022)- Ghost Leaves

Ghost leaves stirring on the trees
Shifting in the gentle breeze.
A brittle reminder before the freeze
Of the winter that is to come.

Early in the year they were green
Bright and vibrant, oh so clean
Shimmering with a fragile sheen
Pristine in spring.

As fall creeped in they slowly turned
Lazily, not so concerned
Losing their colour they had learned
Turning into ghost leaves.

Gorgeous Town in a Rock (Hour 15)

Gorgeous town
built into a rock

Your images I see
make me lusty.

This desire is
more than sex

I long to melt into
your open arms

To be locked in
your warm embrace

Just as you’re welded
into the rock

My tourist spirit craves
for an intercourse

Setenil de las Bodegas
for you I’ll speak Spanish.

Mischief Dog

Once upon a time
A sage came to the royal court
There with a thief fearful face
The thief bowed his head, before the prince

Sage pointed out the thief
What is your sin
It’s not my offense
It’s only the dog’s misdeed
Only the dog should be punished
cried the thief

The sage enquired
What’s wrong with a dog
When going to steal a house
I gave the dog a piece of bread
it; so happily ate the bread

When stolen valuables and returned
It made louder noises, attention of the household
The family woke up and arrested me.

Cunning Dog had forgotten his faith
Blamed for the
Sage smiled and said why dog support you
later, the master blames and hits the dog
It’s a faithful animal.

The thief nodded in silence

Untitled

Book the room card ending in

Some crevice of The Alpine Inn

Make sure to get 2 double beds

One for sleeping, one for sex

Pack us something light to eat

You’re gonna need your energy

Lots of water on location

For fending off the dehydration

Don’t worry, it won’t all be sweat

But it will get very wet

Possibly enough for you

To have a side effect or two

If we’re lucky you may manage

To forget the English language

Hope the bathroom counter holds

As all of my plans unfold

Leave the maid a hefty tip

For ruining all the things we did

For nearly breaking down the door

And soaking through the carpet floor

Expect a call about the madness

And the state of that poor mattress

I’m sure you know the adage

Leave not a stone undamaged

I’ll drain you physically and mentally

But goddamn what a memory

We’ll cancel that one card of mine

To avoid the crazy fine

So go ahead book the room

Starting Friday afternoon
