You were the Sun,
And I am the Moon.
We can never be together,
Not today, not tomorrow, not even soon.

It’s so sad to think that
There are really things that aren’t meant to be.
And what’s even worse is knowing that,
A part of it is you and me.

Separated by time,
Separated by place,
Separated by the everything we see
In the sky and and even in space.

Though, there’s actually one way for us to be together,
It’s not that hard but waiting for it could almost take up ’till forever.
We don’t need the world nor the universe to turn around and get flipped,
What we only need is a complete, total, and permanent eclipse.
