Keep falling a little behind but I think I will get these last two in on time.
Untitled
Early morning sighs
Soft and slow
Slipping through the curtain
Golden and light
Midmorning appears
As if from nowhere
Softness turns bright
Harsh and shining
Afternoon grunts
Too bright yet hazy
Everything blurring
Murky and lit
Evening slips in
Quietly and quickly
Soon all is dark
Heavy and cozy
This is lovely, personifying the hours of the day. Sitting close with poetry will make you more aware of each hour’s features.
Thank you! I plan on making more time to sit with poetry as I enjoy it.
I like this poem. I like the imagery of dusk turning to morning then afternoon then night
Thank you! I enjoyed writing it.
Great word choices here, and lovely imagery.
Thank you! I enjoyed thinking of all the different images.
