New year’s eve doesn’t hold the magic it used to.

It’s just another year gone, then another year born.

I write down New Year’s resolutions in my journal and I look forward to that.

But nothing more.

And it’s okay.

Every holiday doesn’t need a party or spending lots of money.

You just need peace to go on.

I yearn for peace.
