Standing in Cool Waters

Robin Wall Kimmerer must have been talking with a fisherman

when he uttered, “The land knows you, even when you are lost.”

You see, fishermen are like salmon swimming up a cool stream.

They stand against rushing waters while a slight breeze blows.

Casting.

Casting.

Casting.

Wishing for…

THE SIP!

Gracefully lifting their fly rod and feeling the tug,

the elegant dance between man and trout begins.

The dance is what matters, and it brings us back time and again.

For all who wander are not lost, and

fishermen are like salmon swimming up a cool stream.
