Scream!
You can’t be heard.
The vacant space surrounds you like a child in a womb.
It is never ending.
It is everywhere.
The quietness is so loud.

Away from the crowd
Where it’s quiet, my love
Let’s share this moment
In candlelight, my love
Just me and you at this table for two
Shut out the world’s sights and sound
Let’s enjoy our love

Would someone please help me find my keys?
I’ve looked in the living room, dining room, and on the kitchen sink.
I have checked the bedroom, refrigerator, everywhere that I could think.
Asked the dog, his head said no
Asked the cat, but, well you know
I am late and I’ve lost them once again
Wait! They are right here in my hand.

Looking deep at her reflection
“All these men – what will they think?
Eight in total in just one day?
Your reputation is blown no matter what you say
Seven dwarfs and a Prince, you should be ashamed
What would make you take an apple from a stranger that way
Even if you say, “I was drugged”, people will say, “yeah, okay”
All these years living as a virgin, how can Snow White go out this way.
Hold your head up Snow White, girl
You can get through this with pride
You have beauty, poise, and innocence
And the truth is on your side.”

Jump rope twirling
Ponytails whirling
Jumping singing
Voices ringing
Step on a crack, break your mother’s back
Black as taboo
Down in the bayou
Worse than voodoo
Hear when they say to you
Step on a crack, break your mother’s back
Teardrops no play
Like a sunny, rainy day
Scary as the doomsday
The ghost will not go away
Step on a crack, break your mother’s back

The sounds just around the corner was a mystery
The children listened for nights but still couldn’t solve it
They tipped out one evening to see what they could find
And just beside the neighborhood pond was a cute surprise
The sounds were from a family of frogs sitting under a bush
The crooked as they ate as they hid in the cool, just like in a book
The children rushed back home to grab their jars
They each wanted a pet
But when they got back a new mystery stood,
How to get them without getting wet?
See the frogs had gone through this before, and with the children left
They all rushed and jumped on a lily pad, floated to safety glad

There once was a planet called earth
Where humankind at one time was birth
Then they eat of the wisdom
That showed them the Kingdom
And now everyone knows their own worth

Melt in your mouth and hands alright!
Such a creamy delight
In its dark, milky, or ivory goodness
I love chocolate
When it’s hot and cozy
When it’s cold and frosty
When it nutty or on a cake
When it’s the skin on his face
I love the scent and the texture
When crispy rice bits make crunchy pleasure
The tasty candy rules the world
When it’s plain, ice cream, or swirled
Shout your love and admiration
For the best candy in all of the nations
Sweet, delectable, and an artist’s dream
This ode to chocolate is a universal theme

The childish laughter rolled with the green hills
Up and down and they enjoyed the play and thrills
Sisters loving the sunshine in the pool of daffodils
Running happily through the afternoon as a breeze brought on a chill
Bows and laces, smiling faces, showing off their cartwheel skills
Holding hands and skipping in the lively green foothills

Women Divine
Stop at the sign
You have a loss
Dressed like a boss
Paint the town
The nose of a clown
Suit so bright
On a candy cane with white
Highlight of a sunset
The love I’ll never forget
