Hour 14 prompt

TIME

A stitch in time, saves nine
Alas time can never be a slave of mine
A low battery can pretend to slow down time
But, even the theorems of Einstein can never stop time.

Make sure to spend time with your friend,
You never know when your friendship might end
Make sure to spend time in your house
Create beautiful memories with your kids and spouse

Spend a lot of time nurturing your hobby,
Before you become old and just idle in the lobby
Utilise every moment of time like a boss
If we waste time, it will only be our loss.

Hour 13 prompt

SHOW THE EARTH THAT WE CARE

The Earth is clean and green
But humans are selfish and mean
The flora, fauna, water and tree
Are all provided to us for free.

Even though we have all live on Earth
Only a few know it’s worth
The human mind is always filled with greed and lust
Smoke from the factory fills the air with smoke and dust

The oceans are filled no more with the turtle and the fish
It seems to have only plastic which comes free with every dish
Every part of the Earth is filled with pollution
But nobody has the time to find any solution

The Earth cries as it gets looted for its coal and oil
But the greed of man never lets him recoil
Animals cry as they are killed for their fur and hair
But humans are interested in only becoming a millionaire

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction
Spoiling nature will damage the life of our future generation
Recycle, reduce, reuse and share
Start showing the Earth that we care.

Hour 12 prompt

SACRIFICE

There is no success without sacrifice,
Sacrifice is just a way to show that you are very nice
The matchstick sacrifices itself to light up a lamp at every height
The candle sacrifices itself to give out light at night

The woman sacrifices herself to give birth to a child
The teacher sacrifices her time to give knowledge so that he does not become wild
Clouds sacrifice their water to give us rain
The soldier sacrifices and fights for his motherland even in his pain

The bees sacrifice their honey for the Queen bee
The river sacrifices itself when it meets the sea.
Trees sacrifice themselves selflessly to provide us shelter and food
Parents sacrifice their needs for their children’s good.

Sacrificing for someone is sign of strength
It is lovely way of connecting with the divine of a superior wavelength.

Hour 11 prompt

PAINTING

A dash of red, a stroke of blue
Is my painting wonderful to view?
No painting can be done in a rush
Unless it is done by a magic brush.

For an artist all his paintings are priceless
But for a layman it may be worthless
Judge the painting through your inner eye
Believe me, it would never lie.

Paint on a canvas
Paint on a board
You are the artist
And the brush is your sword!

Paint for your happiness
Paint for your soul
Stay away from demotivators,
‘Who want to push you into a black hole’.

Hour 10 prompt

MOTHERS LOVE IS SPECIAL

When God decided to descend on Earth,
He wondered how people will know His worth.
When He could not think any further
He realised; a perfect creation could only be the Mother.

Mother is the creator of the universe
Without her, life would be a curse
Mother keeps us safe in her womb
Will always love us, even after she reaches her tomb

Her breasts are always filled with love and milk
Her warm hugs are even softer than silk.
She always cooks tasty food
And is always ready to give us advice for our good.

Mother can be called by any name,
But her affection for us will always be the same
Theoretically, there is no special Mother’s Day
Mothers are to be loved and celebrated in every way.

Hour 9 prompt

LIFE
Life is like mathematics,
We can add our friends,
Subtract our enemies
Multiply our happiness
Divide our love

Life is like food
It is sometimes sweet,
It is sometimes sour
Life is always full of spice,
It is up to us to make it nice

Life is like drama
It has a lot of characters
It is full of ups and downs
It has a lot of emotions
Leading a happy or sad life depends on our actions

HOUR 8 PROMPT

ANGELS ON EARTH

Dressed in white with a caring face
Is that an angel with an angelic face?
Who is the person walking with majestic steps?
Is he the head of this place called paradise?

Does he have magic in his hand?
How does he cure aches and pains in every land?
What is the bitter-sweet portion given in a pill or a bottle?
Will that portion make us immortal?

Where is the magic wand which is found in every angel’s hand?
This angel has a strange thing called stethoscope in his hand
The stethoscope claims to hear the beats of our heart
Will it now give us only happiness in our cart?

The angels have descended on earth
And its our duty to realise their worth
The angel on Earth is called a DOCTOR
We should only love, support, respect our protector and benefactor.

Prompt Hour 7

ABILITY

I thought I could become a Mathematician
Till I came across Differentiability
I thought I could become a Chemist
Till I came across Malleability
I thought I could become a cook
Till I came across palatability
I thought I could be a gymnast
Till I learnt about flexibility
I felt as if I was lost in the world
I seemed to be only focussing on my disability
Then God made me a mother
And taught me the importance of love and responsibility.

Prompt for hour 6

MY MORNING WALK

Cool breeze
Flowers and leaves falling from the trees.
The weather is perfect,
I wear my designer shoes and track pants.
Set out for my walk.
I walk rhythmically to the sound of the cawing crows,
Till the sound of a random cuckoo breaks my steps,
A few minutes later, I start again,
Promising myself that I would not get distracted again.
I set off with a good pace for a few steps,
Only to be distracted by someone calling me from behind,
To be greeted with a big smile by my close friend
The happiness of meeting a good friend is priceless,
The idea of a brisk walk is lost as we laugh and walk slowly,
Towards a mini morning coffee break along with breakfast.
Followed by a visit to the vegetable market,
To buy fresh vegetables and fruits
The flower seller starts a random conversation with me,
About the rising prices and the rising temperature,
I feel all important and happy,
About the entire morning routine
Where, I effectively spent more than an hour on the road,
Whoops, I hardly walked a kilometer in that hour!
My doctor however is not too pleased with my regime,
She asks me regularly,
“Do you go for a walk in the morning?”
I nod my head indecisively,

Only I and my weighing scale know,
How distracting my morning walks are.

Hour 5 poem

MY NEW FRIEND

Suddenly I saw flashes of light
I thought the heavens have now descended on earth
My laptop started beeping
Crazy signals and funny codes light up its screen
A strange page opens
Asking me to write what’s in my mind
I asked it,” Who are you?”
It said that it was a program who can generate human like responses
I became curious,
I asked it a few questions,
It was better than my husband
Generated more romantic slogans than him
It could give me expert advice
On whatever was asked,
Give me innovative recipes,
Make me laugh
Write essays, poems, stories for me
Do you know who I am talking about?
It is none other than
Artificial intelligence,
Our friend CHAT GPT.
