Glad you liked the imagery Laurie! some say, strict adherence to the 5-7-5 syllable count is not necessary – the 3 lines, simplicity and pop/puch/surprise in the last line is the form. this one was a tad off 6-7-5, I try/prefer to keep to the 5-7-5 Reply

Good one. If I do this marathon again, I’m going to do more Haikus, or is it Haiki? Nice job.
Haiku is fun – don’t be fooled to think it is easy just bc it is short!!!
