The darkness holds secrets

They thrive when hidden

There’s no way for them to slip out

The light stands for truth

Everything out in the open

There isn’t any room to hide

For it is through the light that the darkness is known

I attempted a sevenling after coming across it in one of the prompts from the previous years. It’s a fascinating form of poetry.
