Pencil Castle
At pencil castle,
a clan can eat pecans.
see cats in capes
inspect Incan lances
spaniels in lace caps clap
elastic cacti antics
Celtic asps
Epic!
Leap at it!

Up here above everything
There are no borders
Just sky and clouds
And peace
I know I have to land…
…Eventually
I can’t shy away
From what’s going on in
In the world
But for now
I’ll stay here
Pretend I’m a bird
And be free.
You write from thy heart
It might be short and concise but deep down it’s still yours
You’ve listened to their poetry and without shaking or much ado
Still the poem belongs to me and i don’t run because of poems i try to understand people’s thought and make it conplete
If you present a problem or a issue, in a relationship, does it help you?
Would it help, presenting a problem, that is within yourself or another, that you somehow ‘ignore’ emotional ties and stay at the ready, an almost anodyne mindset.
Inoffensive, perfect, almost machine-like: The Specimen.
At The Rawest, supporting the evidence of light/dark, love/apathy dynamics; unfettering but weary that human interaction is key. Too much can affect the self and others in relationships; no matter the bearer of news or, plainly oneself.
Could the problem be the person or an action that they have done?
In humanity, what lies beneath from human interaction is the chance of empathetic, thoughts, and control, which explains at first glace, that it’s not simple DUE to the tragedies of trauma, coinciding in one’s development. With no treatment, individuals may deal with attacking or healing others, a double-edged sword. One can be in pain, reliving their trauma in many various scenes, forgoing the moralities that can be shown or project in stories. If a person is seen as such, an attacker, an apathetic individual, whether they did a “good” or “bad” action to another soul, it would not have any meaning to them but to use someone as a pawn or ally. If a person, has an empathetic personality, they will understand others, feel their pain, emotions, and will do their best to overcome, please another, forging a strange caretaker role; deflating their sense of self. Actions may speak louder than words for the majority but human interaction can be crafty, cunning, hurtful.
Could there be a solution to the problem?
Repeatedly, with human interaction, a soul bonding treat that can be helpful to those around us, with many various personalities, thoughts. Life can be a whirlwind of emotions, of so many people, reconciling with the self, with others can be helpful – nourishing. Relationships: can entangle, estrange proud people who may have heard or seen horror stories. Coincidentally, we can see ourselves as a problem and a solution, yearning for actions, methodically providing documentation of psychological behaviors.
Alas, the philos can be dense. People can be astute but are so very different in understanding human matters.
You wouldn’t have noticed, but
I flew over you
probably dressing yourself
or thinking about work
and making tea
in your narrow kitchen.
Thinking of you I looked up
And there was the moon
blemish free
and bright as an eye.
My skin’s a little tough
You have pushed me to a point that got me looking crazy
I told you to never take me there
I got this feeling in my gut
Someone is going to have come save you
I’ve had my share of “fuckboys” who like talking sideways
Until I put them in their places
I’m not the one to play with
You’ve been moving shady
You can’t even say my name, won’t even call me baby
Last time I checked I’m supposed to be your lady
But I found out that I’m not the only one you been with lately
I feel my anger coming out
Been sitting back holding it all in
Saving face so I can save my reputation
But you are hell bent on making me look crazy
I’ve been holding us down, while you been hoeing around
And when I confront you, I’m the one who’s tripping
Until I caught you both in my home
This whole situation is toxic
This situation is all wrong
Now I’m slashing out the tires on your car
I already got your windows and no I’m not even sorry
I’m angry that you even got to me that point
And I know it’s going to cost me and I’m not even worried
I’m all out of fucks and I’ve ran out of patience lately
I’m about to put you in your feelings baby
Since you wanted to play me
And call me crazy
I’m going to show you crazy
And you don’t know about crazy until you see my side of crazy
And trust me in the end you’re going to hate me
But this is the way you made me
So you’ve got no one to blame but yourself
I’ve been on a flight three times in my life
When I was, maybe 2?
Spring break of 1997
October of 2012 following my separation
I don’t remember the first
But by account from my mother
I hated it
She pointed out the clouds
I instantly shut the blind
I had conviction, even then
My last flight was my return from Texas
After a month long stay with my Aunt in Gainesville
Even at 31, I was nervous as hell
The cabin was cramped
And despite my request, I was stuck by the window
I quietly debated asking to be moved
I ate my peanuts in silence
The takeoff was much like that of a roller coaster
I’m not fond of roller coasters
I cross the street anytime I approach one
Once in the air, I relaxed
Kind of
The upside of being in the window seat is you get good view
The downside is the view
At least, I thought so
At first
There are a lot of unnerving elements of flying in a 125 ton steel potential coffin
Powered by what, by comparison, could be likened to the over powered fans
They put in the entrance of the local big box store to dry the floors
Then there’re the sounds
*clank*
*rumble*
*whiiiiiine*
Excuse me sir, would you like to sign up for a credit card that offers frequent flyer miles
Even though you look like you never want to fly again?
*whiiiiiiiiine*
Then I look out the window, because something just doesn’t feel quite right
As a pedestrian, or rather, a terran
Flat isn’t just a descriptive, but an expectation
Why are we leaning back?
Why does it feel like we’re landing, but there’s still 2 hours left of the flight?
Where’s my complimentary bag of peanuts?
That’s right
I already ate them
The thing about flying
Is that despite the things I have just described to you
It is seldom thought of
The beauty of the cities of lights
That pass under you
Chicago, is no exception
There’s no image that exudes a multitude of emotion
Than that of a lit up city
At 30,000 ft
Dubai. The land that has my brother,
my idol, my hero, my friend
a three hour flight
short yet so long
crossing boundaries
reuniting with the man who taught me
how to laugh, to fight, to be strong
once we shared the same roof
danced on every new song
played games, talked, even wrestled
mundane moments, filled with joy,
but now life has taken different paths
and he is miles apart.
Each flight is a rerun of memories
of stories, laughter, tears we shared
I flip through the movies on the cramped plane.
knowing exactly the ones he’d pick
I observe the people on board
like we always did,
I giggle at the inside jokes now never made
and wait for the wait to get over.
I land, the airport now familiar,
he is there, like always,
I rush into his loving arms,
I know I am grown now, a happy wife and doting mother,
but in this embrace, I am still a little child,
In this embrace, I am back home.
My favorite ride
From inside
An aluminum bird
Cutting across the sky
I know the every contour
As the wheat trickles out
To the wrinkles that presage
The rise of the Rockies
A brown expanse
Virtually nothingness
Before the thunderous front
Heaves up
Standing watch over a tundra plane
The forest blankets the Bob
Shimmering lakes dapple the crags
Until the fall in rocks rounds
Tumbling down into the valley
Half filled with the pristine waters
Of my childhood
The contrails line the Big Sky
As we follow the river down the Divide
And out
Following the trails of Lewis and Clark
Picking the way through a panhandle
Past the lone explosion of lights on the Palouse
Then all falls flat and drive for miles
Save the wide river
Cutting a huge crevice
On its meander to the pacific
White windmills pop up
Little spinning sticks on dry hills
Catching the breath of the sleeping giant
And his pointy tooth north neighbors
Looming on the Horizon
Shooting up in the distance
Lighting the way in the evening sky
With their crowns of white
Looking down at the spectacular sight
Terrain so close but impossibly rugged and strange
Two tones to announce
Take your seat
I pay them no mind
My face is pressed to plastic
Tracing the lines
The history of my life
Seen from the sky
On the approach and descent
Clearing the Cascades and bending
Over the explosion of lights
The darkened fingers of water
A ring of green rising round
I can smell the rain
Before the wheels touch the ground
Its like that rabbit and the turtle,
The race between you and the sleep,
No matter how hard you try,
Its never for a sec,
The nap extends anyways,
You wake up to see,
The turtle winning,
Or was it just a dream?
