Under the twilight of the moon
standing
waiting
For her to cast over me
beaming her knowledge
into my every pore.
Excited to learn more
looking up
almost begging for her to take me in
as her own personal vessel.

This lovely piece reminds me of the days I lived out of the city and could call her down to me. The imagery is vivid and brings life to this piece…it feels purple and magenta to me…a sunset before the darkness.
Emotions galore….
I love this one too. Every poem should have a moon. (have you read Andrea Gibson? I think I’m paraphrasing them, but they definitely said something similar about poetry and moons.)
Lovely poem. I find myself waiting there with you.
