MINCED ABCS (hour 12, 2017)

A botched time you arrived, isn’t it?

Been around the corners, have you?

Curving the ball, winning the game.

Don’t get all blousey on me, mate.

Enough teabags for a lifetime.

Fount off!

Go slow or be swayed.

How about coming up to where you can’t see me sometime?

I solemnly do sweat.

Just dud it.

Know the child, knock the knees.
Live strange!

Mean gulls never get the road kill.

Not in this death.

Out of sight, out of Miami.

Peace to meet you.

Quest for the mess.

Rest assayed.

Slow down – computers sleeping.

Top of the iceberg, to you.

Uppity yours.

Very bumpy move, dude.

Way to leave.

X is a spot with four corners.

You don’t whisper.

Zoos on us!

5. A Place in My Heart

Green grass covered the hills

We were running bare-foot in circles

Watched the sunset

Until mosquitos tried to make our blood

their dinner.

We stole some straw-bales after midnight

Sleeping in the warm hay

without blankets

Who got to the top of the pile first

Was the winner.

We were riding horses

Feeding the pigs

Adoring the lambs

Watching the flashes of falling stars

On the dark blue sky.

I’m only asking what would it be,

what could our world again be

Without that damned wi-fi?

laws unleashed

in a world afloat with love and light,

i would choose you, my sweet delight. with no Grav ity tonight, wouldn’t everything just be alright

to hear with heart no inner ear ringings, only the strumming of a zillion strings. sent round and round the magnetic realm, erupitng light  – as a bright new moon embraces the waiting lake

eyes closed, chin uplifted, lips parting – awaiting the kissing

waving hands like clouds pushing away attachments; nothing sticks but that with heart simple gestures become a part. of all things tried and true, with no laws to bind us, i would start with you

#10 Color

We were just a couple of kids.

We spoke of the holidays with our dysfunctional families.

We didn’t have the vocabulary to describe an aura.

Yet we identified the colors of each family gathering.

While our situations were different, our color palate was the same.

Deep Blue

I could hear the early morning waves,
crashing along the harbour bay.
As I awoke I could hear them say,
‘Is she Ok?’

She was stranded on land,
away from her clan,
who lived under the sea.

She didn’t know how to say,
she needed to go away;
Back out into the ocean,
Back out into the sea…
So she could reunite,
with her lost family.

CREATIVE HISTORY

As with the problem of society, its coherence, is what history should consist of.

These events have taught us the surprise of the rationality we may later detect.

Manifestation hidden.

In processes, the problem becomes more than conception.

It adds up into an already given, singular contradiction.

Obviously impossible,

this system of laws,

both arbitrary & indefinite.

Nothing must remain outside. Suspended in mid air. Terminating in the end of history…

Unicellular organisms holding up these multicellular forms where a few decades ago biological evolution held up human kind.

These words are truer than electromagnetic remorseless industrialism.

These Western changes are omnipotent.

These instutionalized gods are within reason.

fixed

frozen

ancient

prejudices

Swept away as new ones formed. Antiquated before they ossify. Solids melt into air. Holiness profaned.

Given birth to a history it thought to have concocted.

Philosophy which is more than philosophy.

Carry them both together towards a new and brilliant society.

That Day

That was the day her breasts

rose up, areola and nipples and velvet skin,

all on their own, and took back

their sanctity, their

“sanc-titty.”

That was the day she knew

she was a Goddess

of the richest kind, no matter

what he said or how

he said it

Sad, but not Blue

What if the color blue never existed?
What then would we do?
The sky would no longer be what we know
We’d lose beautiful bluebirds too.
The oceans would turn to grey
Rainbows would break apart
What if blue never existed?
We’d lose so many works of art.
Van Gogh would lose his Starry Night
Picasso’s Blue Period would not prevail.
Chagall’s Blue Angel would lose her wings
So many paintings would surrender detail.
Even our moods would suffer.
If you are sad, you couldn’t be blue.
Some people’s eyes would not be able to conquer
If there never, ever was blue.

Blue Moon

The moon had a cloudy night,

Refused to smile, and even shine,

Lonely and sad remained

Until a closer star invited her to chant,

The moon realized something new, in a cloudy sky,

Its light was always bright.
