A journey of 24 hours
Reaching its end
Muse is being thanked
For the companionship
Encouragements are turning into excitement
For some it was a first
For others an yearly ritual
People exchanged love
they smiled and laughed
New friends were met
Lots of poems were written
Places discovered
Worlds created
I just saw a unicorn
There goes a butterfly
A journey comes to an end
And I got drenched
When the world wrote poetry
Together!
Beautiful Hardika!!! It is wonderful to “see” you back and read your words! I love your poetry…it is conversational and still filled with amazing imagery! This sums up[ my feelings about this wonderful experience of the Poetry Marathon. I loved how you described the enormity of this experience …” Place discoverd…Worlds created. I saw a unicorn. There goes a butterfly.” I wrote a poem (or two with butterflies! Beautiful poem Hardika and I think it expresses feelings that many of us feel about last night and today! Well done!
I am out word to thank you Ingrid! This is the best thing which happened to me during the marathon. Your comment is the icing on my cake of poems! I am filled with gratitude!
Yes!
Yayy!!
Love your poem – captures the mood of the 24 hours – almost like a virtual party – cheers!
Thank you and yes, cheers!!
Very nice poem. It does sum up what we all came together to accomplish. I enjoyed your imagination very much in your use of unicorn and butterfly. Very well done.

Very nice Hardika, just a few edits in terms of grammar will make it better. Suggestions: New friends met, a yearly.
Love this poem! This speaks well for all of our journeys. I like a previous comment about this being a virtual party. It’s that and so much more.
You wrote a clever summary of The Poetry Marathon. Try not to mix tenses: past, passive,…Other than that; I loved your poem, Hardika. 🙂 🙂
Beautiful, Hardkia! You have really captured the atmosphere of the poetry marathon so perfectly!
