Painful Flow, hour 21

If only the words flowed effortlessly
Flowed liquid inspiration from mind to hand to pen to page
Flowed like molten rage at state of society blindly following latest manufactured anti-mask outrage
Flowed like blood from rubber bullet eye shots
Like blood from innocents shot by corrupt cops

Wish I could stop, focus on the beauty of existence
Instead of oppression and pandemic statistics
Wish the words flowed as happy and inspired
Instead of portraying situations dire

But so it goes

Just wish there was another way to flow

Half Marathon My Hour 7

Getting caught up so I can nap for a couple more hours. Already over half done!

Dreamscape

The dreams I have lost

Make me wonder

What magic have I lost

What thoughts gone

The dreams I hold

Seem so normal

With no magic

With little special

5:00 p. m It is inappropriate to be happy

The reparation of the well took its long time (and costs as rocket),

as a set routine that young man brought her buckets,

paying a polite greeting to her parents and retired;

in such an elegant way that everyone rumored behind.

The parents were unemotionally silent indulged in fussiness,

in her turn she was blossoming unseen in her loneliness,

but happy that no one dared to disturb her dreams to fly…

one day her sister came back…marriage vessel said ” goodbye”

School

A school is not a building but a community

Stitched together with hundreds of hearts and minds

All working to the same ends at the same time

A unique combination of energy and souls

That doesn’t exist anywhere else in the world

And will never exist again –

Not that exact combination – not exactly the same.

A school is not somewhere you can visit

It is a living breathing entity

Evolving through change

A school is a moment

A collection

A force

A community

And no fire or plague can finish it

No global crisis can diminish it.

21 – We Are All One

I have love to offer.

Don’t push me aside

because our gods have different names.

I have healing to share.

Don’t ignore me

because I call to god with a different tone.

I have messages to tell.

Don’t turn away

because you don’t know everything in your book.

I have friendship and unity,

communion and fellowship to give.

Don’t reject me because I do not walk through

the same door as you on Sunday.

Lizards and Snakes

Lizards everywhere crawling all over..

Rattlesnakes in yard thriving everywhere.

Gila monsters not geckos stop over.

Scarlet racers stop hostile takeover.

Herpetologist study both to know.

Knowledge to prevent unintended woe.

Reptiles are all right content to just live.

People are the ones busy contriving.

The River of Life

The River of Life

Rivers bending like jutting roots
cattails lining the bank in shoots
Water wears on stone
lay beneath unknown.
the gravestone
soul en route.

Goodnight, Sweetheart

“Are you still awake, darling?”

“Yes, of course. Three more to go.”

“Do you want coffee or a cup of tea?”

“No… If I do, I’ll just stay up all morning and I won’t get any good sleep.”

“Do you want me to stay up with you?”

I looked up from the laptop and stared at him, startled and stunned.
“You… would do that?”

It was his turn to start. “Well, yes. Of course,” he paused. (I love that look in his eyes…!) “Do you want me to?”

“Yes,” I replied. “I do.”

Dear Ashley, (HR 21)

Forgive yourself
Stop blaming yourself for what you’ve been through
They told you it was all your fault
But they’re the ones who turned you into the victim
It wasn’t your fault
The abuse
The assault
You defended yourself…you fought
Forgive yourself
For feeling guilty over the pain they caused you
For having men who didn’t know how to act like real men
Who abandoned you
Who gave a constant reminder of you not being good enough
Who told you that you would never be worth it
It’s not your fault they crushed you
Or told you that you’re not beautiful
And I know in the end
It caused you to forget your purpose…
…it allowed Devil to make you to feel worthless
Please forgive yourself
For always trying to find the good in people
Even though the red flags were waving boldly
Wearing those rose colored glasses blocked your vision
You didn’t deserve how they treated you
They were being selfish
And they knew you were selfless
Stop punishing yourself
Unclench your jaw
Lower your shoulders
Breathe
They tried to destroy you
But God said this isn’t the end
Straighten your crown
But most importantly
Forgive them so you can…
…FORGIVE YOURSELF
