Anorexic part2 11pm

TW:::
Deals with Eating disorders

Am I different
Do I look better
Are you pleased yet
Can I stop this ridiculous
charade

the clock’s ticking
time is going by
but you still
don’t see it
call me a drama queen

Five days
13 hours
the constant
craving’s still there
not as strong though

I can’t be what everyone else
wants me to be
It’s not right
It’s not going to happen

I know you want me to
have everything
that I could ever want
And I appreciate that
but it doesn’t change facts

You aren’t good for me
you claim to love me
but yet you hurt me this
way

six days
1 minute
I’ve reached it
my breaking point

I’m crawling along
on the floor
on my hands
my knees
Broken

You broke me
Satisfied?
Made me not
want it anymore

Take a second
just to breathe
Nope
Don’t want it anymore

Congratulations
damn you
I get over one addiction
Just to get fucked with
another one

Seven Days
I’m done
no more cravings
if they come up
I just ignore
them

Soon I won’t
be able to fight off
anything
not a cold
not an infection
not even diseases

Maybe you’re proud of me now.

Mending Instructions

1. Thread kindness through
the needle of your apology
and let the needle pierce
beyond the excuses and half
truths.

2. Pull the thread toward
a place of grace, humility,
and the recognition that even
when you are wrong, you are loved.
That even when you are right, you
are free to make mistakes.

3. Kiss away any doubt.

4. Do better next time.

Hour 16, Poem 19

Time Management is easy!
Here are a few tips to help you along—

# Always take on more than you can handle, because opportunities are rare and every opportunity is a chance to learn, to be better.

# When asked if you could do it, say YES. Saying no would show how weak you are. You are not weak, you are a go getter!

# When your plate is overflowing and schedule is clashing, try to do everything at once. Multitasking is a sign of strong, independent adult.

# When nothing works out and you are buried under a pile of documents while your hand reaches from under it to the blank document on your laptop, that’s when you know you made it!

# Now give up and cry! (Did you think there was some other way this would end? Don’t be ridiculous! You are an adult, not super human.)

          time management

                            always

              yes

                    multitasking

         buried

                          cry.

Hour 16 – Sambaar

A little box of spices uncovered

Distinctive due to a local ingredient

Fresh, grated coconut, coriander seeds,

Roasted to perfection, flavors gradually permeating

The genesis of lunch

Lentil and tamarind mixed gravy

Vegetables in abundance

The podi differs across regions and households

Tempered with fresh curry leaves

A bliss with steaming fluffy rice

Sambaar an elixir so comforting.

Smile completely prompt 16

Directions: Start with a clean slate then add encouragement. Start to warm the small of her back with your hand and whisper that you are amazed by her in her ear. When she smiles thank her and when she is ready, kiss her. Not a swift kiss but a long meaningful kiss. After this she should be smiling completely if not then you missed a step, start over. Repeat until she smiles. Completely.

Hour Twelve

To Do List

Get out of bed

brush that head

drink some coffee

throw out the doubts and why mes

prepare for the day

don’t forget that you slay

Eat something more than once

best if you eat dinner, breakfast and lunch

keep away any and all doubts

throw those nasty things right out

don’t forget to hydrate

you have too much on your plate

portion it out a piece at a time

until you can handle the whole design

Burning

I will not deny,
that in this world,
the true pleasure
is the one that has
to do with burning
with another being.

In the flames of desire,
I am a slave to that fire,
one attempt is not enough for me.
my skin requires
more serum and that substance
from kisses together
with the humidity of your body.

I am no longer looking for heaven,
I gave myself to the
flames of desire
and there I burn in sweat
and breath of fire.

I cannot contain
the thirst I carry
inside me, so I just
little by little give in.

Hour 16: Remember To (The Wife Edition)

I’ve landed in Seattle and will reach work soon.

Remember to:
Eat the food the cook made yesterday that’s in the fridge.
Take a look at the rest of the fridge for fresh fruit before you reach for any other snacks.
Put your plates in the dishwasher right after eating, so you don’t forget.
Bring the trash cans in after noon.

And also,
take frequent breaks from your work so you can focus on the things that give you the most joy,
your hobbies, your walks, your friends.
Smell the herb patch in the backyard when you water the plants.
Call me after you’re done with work for the day.

And most importantly, not miss me too much.
I’ll be back before you know it.
And as you know, I’m always with you in spirit.
I love you so much.
My baebee.

Oh, before I forget, do remember to pick me up from the airport on Thursday. Thanks!
