Hour 12

Watching you sleep

I admire every curve of your lips

the shape of your body

and all the scars

You look at me and smile

and I wonder how I got so lucky

This is an accomplishment

me loving you

a year ago I could not have imagined

I look forward to creating more memories with you

Prompt Twelve (12): The Best Way Possible [Hour 12]

The Best Way Possible

We begin this journey in the best way possible.

At the end, of course!

For through the end of wish…

Is where manifestation takes place.

Thus, your journey is the end…

And the beginning of fulfillment!

You walk and live in the assumption…

that it is done!

This is the only way to manifest,

if you wish to manifest every-time!

And most do …

Then, you no longer need the question.

Facing the Moon

Death never has been
my favorite song,
and now I know why.

With all due respect, Cat,
I do not like the idea
Of nothing.

hour 12 poem

Life Lived

Make your choices today and tomorrow

Seek information you need to know to

Develop alternatives and use your brain

For if you do not, you’ll feel the pain

Are you happy with what you know to

make your choices today and tomorrow

for that is all you really can do

today and tomorrow and all others to

Do you think you have control of your life?

Are you satisfied with your journey so far?

Make your choices today and tomorrow.

Satisfied or not the journey continues

My advice to you is be satisfied.

For what is your choice if it is not so.

Gather and think and make your plans to

make your choices today and tomorrow.

Antisocial Media

Antisocial Media

Lies are Truth.

The Earth is flat.

Vaccines cause autism.

Different is bad.

USA has the best health care in the world.

COVID-19 is a hoax.

Click of a mouse,

touch of a screen sends

falsehoods catapulting through

posts, comments, chats.

Electronically transmitted

pictures of smug faces

mock the truth.

Modern technology spreads

deception and distortion to

multitudes of naïve,

antiquated, outmoded believers.

prompt # 12 bowling alley

It was Friday Night

The alley was hectic with huge parties

taking turns bowling.

At the end of the alley,

there was a man

he bowled with a serious face

he was a serious bowler.

His right toe tapped the floor,

behind his left heel.

The screen showed

the total of six X’s displayed for all to see.

As he got to the line to bowl,

He let the ball go.

His ball curved and spun down the long lines of the shiny hardwood, headed for that pocket between the 1 and 3 pins, looking to be a strike for sure.

Can you guess?

STRIIIKE!

7th strike in a row.

what a game,

all eyes were on him. what a champ.

Off this Road

She fell out of love with me.

Not long after she had to stay at home.

Lockdown.

We split up far too long before any newsy talk of being husband and wife.

I met her not long before our troubles.

Not long enough for her to be the Dean to my Sal.

Today I wonder if she’ll take me back

and we will make castles out of our affection.

Pray, pray again and again

Something gives.

Sometimes even true love fails to make the distance.

No word left to write.

Hour 12

It was then that I realized

a bright light lay ahead of me

I felt cold and drowsy

but I kept walking

that day in April and when

I reached the end

the clocks were striking thirteen

The Twelfth Hour: The Fairy and the Baker

The fairy and the baker, who lived in Graham’s Hollow, never quite saw eye to eye.

You see, the fairy couldn’t handle that the baker had a power over her, and so she sent a spy.

“Why does he have this hold on me?!” The fairy wondered in her garden—

just one taste of his scone and I’m sure to give    a pardon.”

Down the cobble road, the baker sat in his kitchen, mixing butter and sugar.
“Oh surely this will shook her!“

The fairy and the baker, who lived in Graham’s Hollow, never saw eye to eye.
Because the baker stole the pixie dust and sent away the spy.

11. Cloud Surfing

Ambient temperature on planet earth produces clouds that raise the dew point. Scientifically this is the gist of a cloud, yet I see a cloud as a cotton ball unfurled and unencumbered resembling cotton candy undyed, bleached white sometimes in the hue of gray like storm clouds caught amongst shades of blue sky.  I quell the unrest of flying with the cloud surfing that I do when I gaze out a window.  Searching for a face or space to fill the frame. I am a cloud surfer and I long to surf in the clouds, living in a home with an unobstructed view is one way to surf without flying.
