Announcing the Finishers of the 2022 Poetry Half Marathon

Dear Poets,

Here’s our initial list of everyone who successfully finished the 2022 Poetry Half Marathon. These poets wrote 12 poems in 12 hours as part of the annual Poetry Marathon. Congratulations to everyone!

Please note: This list contains errors. We need your help to correct those errors. If your name is in the wrong list, or missing, please let me know! This was in no way intentional. (There are so many participants, it is very difficult to create an accurate list.) This is particularly important for those who are listed as writing just 23 poems — this is often in need of correction.

You can see the list of Full Marathon Finishers here.

Thank you to everyone who participated this year!

— Jacob

  1. This is Renae Ogle or Renaego. I finished the half marathon. That is to say I wrote 12 poems. I didn’t start until nine because I didn’t realize that the start time was on the East Coast and I’m in Arizona so I had to play catch-up a little bit and I picked up my last poem from hour 15 because I didn’t like hour threes prompt so maybe I made a few adjustments but I did write 12 poems in 12 hours because I started at nine (pacific time) and I basically finished at nine.

  2. Hi Jacob,
This Santosha… I signed up for 12 but was completed 24 plus poems. This is my 6th round and I’m so grateful to be apart of this writing group. I may have the poems marked private and a few duplicates I need to edit. Please let me know if I am in the group of 24 completer.
